Nice coin, Jimmy. You probably have a 20 franc gold coin from France. But I would not call it 'tiny.' The diameter is about 22 mm (7/8 inch).
If your coin is a beautiful shape like the one in the picture, figure a retail market value of about $200 US dollars or more. The coin contains 0.1867 Troy ounces of gold. With gold above the $900 mark, the bullion value of your coin alone would be more than $167, so that would be a minimum retail price. Since you say your coin has 'little or no wear' and you do not indicate any problems and attractive eye appeal, you coin could easily sell over $200 on the retail market.
If gold goes up or down, so does your coin. Look up the current value of gold at
kitco.com, then multiply that value by 0.1867. This gives the basic gold value. If your coin is in excellent shape, with little or no wear, you can add another $50 or so to get an approximate retail value.
If you were to sell your coin to a dealer, he or she should pay between 60 to 80 percent of retail, depending on condition and the state of the gold market.
