 Description from requester: The front of the coin says 'Commerce Industrie' around the coin and says '1924' at the bottom. Under the 1924 is the word 'Domard Inv.' The front has a man holding some kind of staff sitting on a throne sideways. The back says 'Chambers De Commerce De France' around the coin and says 'Bon Pour 50 Centimes' in the middle. Under the word 'Centimes' is a small word that says 'BR AL.'

These coins were minted in aluminum bronze from 1920 to 1929. There are 100 centimes in a franc, so Samantha's 50-centimes coin is half a French franc. The same pattern was used for the 1 franc and 2 francs coins, with the 'bon pour' ('good for') annotation changed on the other side.
